I’m interested in who it was who had problems installing Yamiya pipes Don? Someone here? My only problem installing mine recently was more than likely caused by a previous owner dropping the bike on its left side and slightly bending the rear footpeg hanger, which required some “panel beating” so I could install the 14mm mounting bolt. Apart from that, they went on easy peasy. ;D

Terry…. I’ve installed three sets for myself and a few for others. No real issues.

Thanks John, yeah, I had new Yamiya clamps and exhaust stubs when I built the bike in 2020. We took them off to remove the engine and installed new exhaust gaskets when we put it back together and I was happy with how easily the new headers went on, and happy that everything lined up so well.

I’ve seen some pics of a Busso system that an Aussie FB member installed (after waiting more than a year for them to arrive) and he had all sorts of issues with poor fit, and really poor alignment of the equaliser tubes, (not even close) and having to use 10mm bolts to attach the rear pegs and mount the mufflers because the OEM bolts were impossible to install due to misalignment issues. He’s not happy, and I don’t blame him. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Thanks John, it’s far from “Show quality” so once I’m retired I think I’ll completely strip it down and rebuild it again, but for the time being as long as it remains reliable I’m just going to ride the wheels off it! ;D

I had a Yamiya pipe that with the peg bolt in place, it didn't reach far enough onto the #3 or #4 exhaust stub, I wrapped it with a towel and used a piece of wood with a mallet to encourage the pipe to meet the engine. When it got together, I tightened the flange.

My Yamiya pipes, No numbers and Lotus Root can glide off a little at head spigot when fitting them.

I removed rear thick bolt, swung down the pipe and let it glide on the spigot without any abuse. Rear up again and fit the bolt.

I have used a luggage strap around the entire engine with pipes to keep them in place until rear bolts are in place.

I have the two sets of Busso pipes and really am not so excited about it. I resent having to kiss butt to get what I faithfully paid for and to help everyone else from the group buy.
Here we are again with no Yamiya's in stock, had I known I would have waited for them rather than buy the CMS 341's or the no stamp Busso pipes. A year ago I was excited to get them on two bikes, now the luster is gone and they sit in the boxes.

Don, I know you had one set of pipes that went back and forth in Italy first. Have you recently got another set now delivered?

Yes, I did finally get both sets. I had to promise to advertise how wonderful they are and make an installation video. It was a promise made under duress, to get what was owed to me, so it doesn't count.
I think the product is a passable one but clearly not as good as Yamiya which I consider to be equal to genuine Honda. Delivery was around a year late.
Busso still needs to up their game, and I fail to see how they save their reputation after this debacle.

To be clear, this was only one pipe out of 3 gorgeous sets of Yamiya no number pipes and the adjustment was easy. Even the 341's from cmsnl installed easily, I'd still love to know who makes them.

Terry….. Forget “show quality”. Whenever I do that it really means “never ridden”. My favourite is my cb750K1 which is lovely, but gets used regularly. That’s the best finish!

Don, count me as not receiving my 300's yet after almost 16 months.
Here's Dario's latest:

"hello, we are working to ship everyone we are only working for delays it takes a moment more patience but we will get to everyone In thanking you, we offer cordial greetings" DARIO

Any influence you have with Busso would be welcomed.
UPDATE, It's been a month and a half since Dario's good news " It takes a moment more patience" but not surprisingly he has stopped communicating again and of course no pipes.

I saw a marketplace ad that looked a lot like busso, it had a sports car, motorcycles and 4-4 sets for sale. I assumed it was Dario fund raising to try to stay afloat. I'm sorry to hear that you still didn't get yours, I was hoping they had all shipped. I think the group buy was filled but to be honest, I quit the group what'sapp thread. I think even the guy in New Zealand finally got his set.
I was surprised to see that mine came on the same tracking numbers from a year ago, the street name was in Italian but ups has been here a lot so I'm in the system.

That really sucks that you still haven't received your pipes yet and that you are being ghosted by Dario. I hope he gets it together for you.

The "no no" pipes here seem to be no pipes.
Yamiya "no no" pipes is no numbers stamped on them as some CB750 got from factory.

This must be very bad for the sellers reputation that gladly received the money but does not deliver. No refund mentioned either.

Most sellers with delivery issues on eBay have been very eager to refund money very quick, a little too quick for parts I need for a good price.
I usually say I can wait a little longer with max time to force money back via eBay or PayPal in my mind.

Yeah mate, the K1 is still my favourite model, I have two in pieces in my garage that will one day be restored. Having said that, I do love the red K0. ;D
