No worries Seth, that was a slightly odd reply, but anyway, I thought you might prefer the CR's throttle pull over your Mikuni's, and as my CR's are just sitting in a box it wouldn't have been a problem for me to send them to you to try, but I'll assume that you're not a fan of CR's, yeah? Two part bed liner from Scorpion Coatings that I custom tinted. Stuff is pretty cool ;)

Much more robust than plasti-dip.  Should be a breeze to keep clean.

Seth,

I believe you are running Avon RoadRiders on your 750 aka RUBY.  If so, have you experienced any wobbles/oscillation at higher speed (approx. 82 mph)?  Two people I know have had the same issue when riding on grooved concrete (on the highways), but not on asphalt.  I'm trying to figure out if it's an idiosyncrasy of the tire tread pattern.

I am running the Roadriders. We don't have much in the way of grooved concrete in Maine, and I can't say that I've had any instability issues to speak of.

That would make me very happy! I've been slaving away so much on the Ural project, that I haven't had a chance to have really nice photos taken for interweb submissions. Unfortunately, I may be liquidating her this coming spring :( Let me pass a word of warning; don't make a bike so beautiful that you're afraid to ride it.

Seth,

Never be afraid to ride your bike, unless you are building it for a customer or specific sale in mind.  You build it and you ride it.  If someone offers you enough to sell it, then they can have it.  I'm not big on trailer queen bikes, unless the motorcycle is historic and ultra-rare.  A custom is made for the person who designed it to ride it.  If that means you rub it with a diaper and clean it after riding, so be it.  Letting it sit is BS.
