ANYONE AFRAID OF THE FRONT BRAKE NEEDS A RIDER COURSE.

And a lot that use them could benefit from the course..probably myself included..

A pet peeve of mine is older or experienced riders that neglect to try to impart some of the important stuff to the newbs.. I think I jumped on King a bit on that point, for selling a bike with no front brake, and his attitude about it.

Going back to the original question; here in Illinois, you are not required to have a front brake.  You ARE required to have two separate means (hand and foot) of applying brakes.  So, I imagine if you arranged some setup where you could actuate the rear brakes both with a pedal and lever, you would be legal without a front brake here.

That being said, my chopper has dual disc brakes up front and single disc rear...

Thank you, Digger!

I never meant to start a bashing thread as you can tell from the original post.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.
