Should be something like this one cause I'm pretty sure the back blinkers mount into it

You can kind of tell in this picture how the blinkers go into the bar

anyone shopping for a new seat ?

I've got one from a '76 that has been professionally re-upholstered, with absolutely no rips or imperfections.

seat pan is rock solid and very clean, with no hint of rust or corrosion.

PM me for details...

Looking for a parking brake cable assembly and the small plastic diaphragm with the vacuum lines that is attached to the carbs. Had a small engine fire and these 2 pieces got damaged (fuel line split).
Thanks,
Jeff

Complete engine, minus carbs and insulators, off a 1978 CB750A. Turns over with electric starter.  I bought it 3 years ago for the carbs and insulators. Figured I use it someday, but now it is time for spring cleaning. The guy I bought it from said it was in a barn for many years and needs an upper gasket set, oil pan gasket and the valves cleaned and seated. Located in Northern Illinois about 30 miles NW of Chicago. Local pick by you and your shipper.
VIN# B750AE-72022xx   Make a reasonable offer and it is yours!

Saw the complete gasket set on E-bay for $74.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB-750A-1976-1977-1978-Full-Gasket-Set-Kit-CB750A-Hondamatic-Automatic-/400702361642?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d4bb8d02a&vxp=mtr
Hi, do you still have it? I need the stator cover only if it is in good condition. Thanks.

A local shop has a Hondamatic for sale, I think he's down to $1200 for it, runs and rides good. Charlies Cycle Supply, West Jersey Illinois, He's a 750 guy from day one. 309-995-3319.

Are you interested in a functional equivalent - as in - something from a car that does the same function?

I was looking around, and found a few vacuum solenoids, some less than $20, that I believe would work.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/VACUUM-SOLENOID-SWITCH-VALVE-FOR-VSV-626-MILLENIA-ASPIRE-911-707-MAZDA-FORD/152332264392?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dc500b13b48f2457a8f06d6e8287d01b5%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D382661100123%26itm%3D152332264392&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Ab1eaef01-5eeb-11e9-bb59-74dbd180e43a%7Cparentrq%3A1d53ed4316a0ab67342d0552fff94dbd%7Ciid%3A1

I wish I had one in my hands, and then I could tell you for certain . . . .

On our CB750A's one of the hoses connects the air cleaner - and is used to let air get into the dashpot - so it will go to its standby position (removes the idle speed increase).  The one with three connections should work, and the one with two should work, too (it has a hole built into its body).
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.

Akranem have I got a deal for you .Another member (Lafindufondu)offered some  free parts which igot. all he wanted was shipping covered.the only stipulation was I was not to resell them but use them which I have on my chopper. so if you are not going to flip this bike but ride the snot out of it you can have the valve you need for shipping.if however you are planning to fix and sell bike right away you can have part  for 45 shipped. please pm me with your address and will get shipping cost. just paying it foreward to a fell matic owner
don't buy it build it

@raymond10078 you really think using one of these car Vacuum solenoid switches would work? i mean i get in a way it should because it serves the same purpose but has anyone ever done it before? i have managed to remove the air filter box and switched over to pods so the extra hose lead to the air box would automatically be eliminated meaning i would only need 2 ports to get it to work properly.....i ordered a cheap one off ebay and i'm willing to experiment to see what happens.

i anyone else has any other ideas or i anyone has switched over to car vacuum solenoid to replace the carburetor valve solenoid let me know please im desperate.

@dave the welder thanks man....i really appreciate you helping me out.....im also going to try that other method as well just to see i maybe this might help anyone else along the way....but im thinking hondamatics being just a little different because of the crab setup might help others in the future in case anyone is willing to try it as well.

i will soon be posting pics o my whole bike build process to how where i am with my bike along with what kind o modifications can be done with hondamatics.....i strongly think they are rear and anyone who can get a hold of one do it and make it happen
