I have no info on those pistons but I do on the coatings that are applied to them. It is identical to the coatings that my Powder Coating has applied for me on a previous V8 engine parts (pistons, cam, crank all DFL, ceramic on domes and valves). It does work and does add benefits.

I will be having these treatments done to a pending 500 motor.

I had Swain Tech apply their coating to the skirts of a set of 61mm pistons not unlike those shown. I recently pulled the top end to replace the head gasket and the coating looks good after 8k miles. I'm sold.
