The deaf/ASL community (of which I am a part of) are really up in arms about this.
but not at him, only at the astonishing breakdown in security (as far as background checking) that allowed this noobie to get within 3-4 feet of the world's leaders. They didn't even check his creds, or realize that you actually need to be screened and certified to be an interpreter.
