My wife is a certified nursing assistant in a privately owned nursing home.  We had a discussion last night about some of the residents(currently on chemo for cancer), and their families, pushing to use the herb to deal with the side effects.  Smoking in the home is not allowed as there is too much flammable med equipment, but edibles would be easy to monitor and dose.
She said it certainly would be nice to give them a chill cookie now and then  ;D
