I'll be rebuilding a couple of brake master cylinders for my Colleda 250TAs. It may be a while before I need to instal them so I was wondering if I need to use a preservative to prevent any corrosion and. if so, what should I use.

Thanks jerry h. So I'm looking for 'Brake Assembly Lubricant'. I can't find a Raybestos supplier locally. I came across a product by Permatex who have have an outlet close by so I'll check them out.

Fill the reservoir with fluid, pump some thru the MC, refill reservoir, and store. The damage to MCs come when they "dry" up with dirty old fluid.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
