New 4 into 1 exhaust for 75-77 CB400f
« on: January 02, 2014, 11:23:30 AM »

I dropped a stock CB400f off at Carpy's Cafe Racers a lil over a month ago so he could use it to design a new 4 into 1 exhaust on it. It came out great, one of the best looking, sounding and performing exhausts out there for the CB400f  in my opinion.
It allows you to keep the center stand, ditch the split flanges and let's you change the oil without having to remove the exhaust. I picked up the bike The other day. Fires right up, didn't even have rejet the carbs and it runs great. Really wakes up the 408cc motor feels faster too.

Click the link, see the pics and watch the videos. I can post more pics when I get home from my vacation.

Looks nothing like the mac. Yes it clears the fender under compression.

the way #1 and #2 tuck behind the#3 and #4 tubes looks to be about identical but at the they look to be about 4" longer before the collector. unlike the mac it is one piece and the can is not tapered. the mac comes in chrome or black and retains the factory manifold clamps

i like the lines that it follows past the collector towards the back wheel. i may have to make a new can for the mac i have sitting on the shelf....

retail on the mac is $377 with free shipping at most dealers yet he says it is a better deal and charges $45 in shipping
