CB750K cafe racer "Project spine tingle"
« on: January 14, 2014, 05:05:38 AM »
Hi All,
Nice forum you got here!  8)
For starters I will make a proper introduction of my current project. Not my first build and not my last :)

I've just finished both a small cosmetic cb750 project and a large full overhaull a cx500 project cafe racer, see photo.
Cbr600rr front, 320mm disc conversion with custom brackets
Custom 1 mm aluminium cafe seat that houses all electronics
motogadget gauge, 100% new wireloom with custom control module. Rizoma levers, mirrors and grips.
all new paint and powder everything.

I'm currently working on a cb750K to build a cafe racer for my GF. It needs to ride and handle like a "modern" bike.
The following upgrades will be happening

Cafe seat with housed oiltank
CBR600rr gold forks and brake upgrade. Clipons
excel 18" fornt and rear rims with ss spokes
motogadget gauge + m-lock  + new loom
ugraded rear shocks (brand TBD, suggestions?
engine refurb
rear disc conversion. Rearset with hydrolic brake.

Its all stripped out, and some parts are collected like the fork.
For now i've decided on the RAD hub to use on the front. But still waiting on feedback from RAD on the part nr.

Cheers and ride safe!
