Too much laziness and not enough motivation

So I helped a buddy roof his house this 3 day weekend.  Wasn't how I wanted to spend it, but hey, that's what friends do.  I was the only that could carry a bundle of shingles up.  We had two pallets (85 bundles) to take up to the roof.  Since we know a thing or two about building things, we decided to make something.  Only took 1.5 hours to make and it saved my back from going to the chiropracter.

Anyway, I thought I would share the laughter of our mid-evil contraption.

you could market that thing.  my brother did his roof and the only one he had there to help her was his pregnant wife. oh and he lives in so. california.  he called me up in the middle of doing this to ask 'what are some symptoms of heat stroke?'

18 or 19 inch wheel?  Any wobble? How are the spokes and rim, clean? No rust? Loose spokes?

We couldn't use the CB rim, because it's holding the goldwing that I "borrowed" the front end off of.  The rim is actually from a KZ.  I think it's a 19" that we picked up off of ebay, for one of our "projects".  Going to try and stuff a motor in a little 250 frame.

The lift turned out to be very stable.  Just braced in in the right spots.  We had a little problem the first day keeping the rope on the rim, but we drilled a new hole for the axle (we mounted it originally on the ground and it wasn't level on the roof) and it worked flawlessly.

We thought about marketing it, but then decided to think more about it later when the roof was done.

If anyone wants, we can ship the plans.  The napkin shouldn't be to smudged.

I've got some of those black cats that have the white stripe digging up my lawn if you want some to use as projectiles.

Well, I'm a little disappointed.  When I saw the post title, I thought someone had written my unauthorized biography.

I didn't think it was possible, but I think I've found someone even more warped than me. Wait a minute... We're the same age, from StL., we both have big red hair... Are you my evil twin?  ;D

Sorry about the let down, but I'm glad that someone else thinks there book is going to be titled that  ;)

Tonight is the last night of the black dragon (I'll see if I can get new pics).  It's more menacing looking now.  It got to dark to work on the house, so we broke out the liquid motivation and now it has some improvements.  I'm sure that it will end disastrously.  Wish me luck.
