Las Vegas K1
« on: January 19, 2014, 04:17:31 PM »
Hi all,

Just thought i'd make a post on my latest purchase...

A 1971 K1 CB750 in Candy Gold.

I purchased this last week from the world's largest motorcycle auction, the Midamerica Auctions Las Vegas Vintage Motorcycle Auction!

Purchased a few bikes from them 2 years ago and had them shipped to me. This one is currently now sitting in Long Beach, California before it makes the jurney across the ocean... Can't Wait!

It looks good. Does it run?

Is there anything more fun than riding? They are between your legs and are quiet when you turn them off.

Yeah is meant to be an excellent runner. Fully restored in 2011.

Last time i purchased a 81 DOHC CB750K, A 79 Limited Edition CB750K, A 75 CB750 and my favourite one.... photo below... 74 CB750 with HM 300's on it :)

This is now the 9th Honda 750 i've had sent over from America (without being there mind you!) without any issues. I still have them all amongst my others and CB750K police bike collection hehe.

As far as i can pick i just need to put the right red sidecover badges and correct bottom tank strip on the gold one (has a K0 one on it) to make it proper!

Nice collection, good for you.

I get most of my bikes shipped to me too. Some guys here only look in their City/State and wonder why they cant find a nice one?

The organiser mate, yes I remember you from last year.
Send me a PM and I'll get the entry forms etc to you.
Or visit vjmc.org.au all details are on there.
Cheers.
