I can show you pictures of heads that came off of pro mod bikes that
were a little ..........um....off.............and spent the better part of a day welding everything up

Pro mods typically have a 250-300hp shot of nitrous to run low 4 -teens. Hopefully Bill will limit himself to no more than 50hp dose of the juice using a progressive controller and retarding the timing accordingly. Detonation is normally what blows stuff up while lean conditions contribute to meltdown. Best to be safe than sorry.

Got this,it will work! Hardly a scratch on it!  ;D Also got adjusters and axle and spacers and can use the caliper set up also!!

Bill, might be wise to replace that tire with a fresh one. Slicks don't work to well after sitting for long periods, especially the Good years. Plus the GY takes a longer burn out to get them right. Need a Mickey Thompson. Try getting a price from Star racing or even Summit racing. M/T pays contingency money also.

Early GSXR rear wheel, tire size 5.5 x18. So we know this can work. Wheel is 4.5x18.Kosman wheel that's coming is 5.5! ;D  Need a matching GSXR 18 for the front.

Oh yes 18 it is. Need a front now. That tire is going way so quickly with a MT on the way! Got handlebars, 1/4 turn throttle,air shifter today....been digging! Got a see what tach,etc. has mount for steering damper,got one of those also. 8) Bill

Need to find a clutch perch with an adjustable plunger- its an absolute necessity to fine tune the exact point of the bike movement versus two step release- preferable with 2 independantly adjustable switches since you're using nitrous. You want the 2 step to come off before the bike is trying to move and then the nitrous needs to come on only after the clutch is fully released. FBG, Star Racing, even APE maybe?? I got mine from Star. MPS has them too.

Oh, that GSXR wheel would be perfect as its not going to be too wide to cause issues with chain alignment while using an offset( Cycleex?) front sprocket. The bonus is you've got all the caliper/brake parts and sprockets are readily available  for the 530 chain. A 5.5" MT slick works well too. I've had low 1.40 sixty foot times on my F model on the MT. With your bar and slick bike and that big motor you can dump the clutch WOT off the step 2 and get it down in the 1.30's i would hope. I'd predict 6.20-30's in the 1/8th mile and low 10's in the 1/4.

Does that 1/4 turn throttle have a built in switch to activate the nitrous?? If not, we'll have to rig up a WOT switch on the carbs somehow.

Frank, thanks, keep info coming. This  one might become a " Monster". Purpose built Dragbike but plan on being able to be street legal,so I can run ET brackets occasionally,not sure any other class it fits. Plus want to ride to neighborhood bar and grill! 8) 10 second RC/Tracy bike that's streetable.  8)

Bill, sometimes we've got to decide exactly what we want when building a bike. Glad you set the parameters early on before we got to carried away. Personally, I'd never try to ride my bike on the street the way my engine is set up. Damn thing get very hot even after making a pass in the 1/8th mile. I don't want to shorten the life of my motor any more than necessary- I got other bikes more suited for bar hopping.  Hint, hint, cough, cough, turbo....

Bill I have 75 plus shipping in the wheel, I would like to break even.

I am looking for gauges for a 72 750, 12 over fork tubes, a new or good usable set of F intake boots.

I might have a pair of front rotors in the shed from my 87Gsxr 1100. I bought a used pair in good shape but never got a chance to install them because the bike got stolen from the parking garage while I was at Daytona bike week. Will check for you this weekend.

Yeh, that's why I put it out there. OK,Calendar Girl with big motor, 915, with Stage IV+ head of Mike's ought to be good enough,especially with Turbo Purple Rain to back it up!
So purpose built to race only! Does make sense! Thanks for input,keep it coming. Frank, what's your best time with F model. It's the fastest/ quickest I know of thats RUNNING! Bill,
