BILL: A list of things you will need to run a stroker NOS bike =  a pit bike and rider to push you around, about 6 bottles full and ready to go from 8AM TO 10-11 PM , A TORCH TO HEAT THE BOTTLE ON THOSE LATE RUNNING EVENTS [ DO NOT GET CAUGHT ], a purge valve and button from MPS, A delay BOX, a progressive NOS box,  and Bill you might ride a 2-3mm stroker to a bike night at a local bar event , but a 10mm stroker will die in a short time on the street.  MSP [ in OHIO ] built many stroker ,supercharger, and NOS bikes that we always pushed up to the line and back from the end of 1320'.  Been a right leg pusher for 25 years and seen many broke motors $$$$$$$$$$$ if you could run in S/G 9.90 class all-motor bar or no-bar then your " getting it done ". Pulling out the clutch pack after every run and cleaning and cooling is the way, blowing a fan on the cases is a joke = use a temp gun and see what I mean.

Bill, sometimes we've got to decide exactly what we want when building a bike. Glad you set the parameters early on before we got to carried away. Personally, I'd never try to ride my bike on the street the way my engine is set up. Damn thing get very hot even after making a pass in the 1/8th mile. I don't want to shorten the life of my motor any more than necessary- I got other bikes more suited for bar hopping.  Hint, hint, cough, cough, turbo....
Yeh, that's why I put it out there. OK,Calendar Girl with big motor, 915, with Stage IV+ head of Mike's ought to be good enough, especially with Turbo Purple Rain to back it up!
So purpose built to race only! Does make sense! Thanks for input, keep it coming. Frank, what's your best time with F model. It's the fastest/ quickest I know of thats RUNNING! Bill,

Best ET on the small slick prior to the chassis changes i made last year was a 10.62@121mph in damn good air. I never backed up that 10.62 but ran some mid to high 10.60's the same day. If i can ever get the freakin bike to hook, and then to shift all gears when i take it out this season, i'm hoping for some 10.50 something passes. A lot of static and reciprocating weight was taken off the bike but i gained weight since the bike ran it best ET. I'm sure you will surpass that number without any issues as your motor is bigger and you'll be able to out 60' my no bar bike any day of the week. Would think you'll get into the low 10 second zone if the total package (bike and rider) is light enough. The one piece body will help a lot in keeping weight down. THE GSXR wheels and a 530 DRZ2 chain will also aid in lowering reciprocating weight over the stock wheels.

I'm not trying to dissuade you in doing what you feel will make you happy- i just don't know how long a stroker motor with a big kit and a monster cam will last riding on the street. Trust me, your maintenance on this build will far exceed anything you've done with Sam Auto since you guys built that bike- you will not be able to run this engine more than one season without at least checking the rod bearings and putting in new valve springs- the time slips will be your best friend to determine when its time to work on the top end.

All i can say is follow your dreams young man!!! As we are all over the age of 50, we have more years behind us than in front, so reach out for all the satisfaction you can get today.

Do they make a LOCK-UP or SLIDER for a SOHC 750 ???? If they are not out there then you can only use stronger clutch springs and shims , and when you hit that BLUE NOS BUTTON without these tools then your clutch will be slipping running thru the clutches = right ?  Tony Lang called the shop [ MSP ] one day and asked if Joe was there and I said NO , he then said POPS I got a lockup made for the new 1000cc GSR and I want you folks to try it out at the track = with Shine riding and this new lockup best numbers in the land. He [ Tony ] sold a bunch after that lesson that MSP BOYZ showed them what A LOCKUP would do for a 1000cc class Suzuki.... Big Stroker motor and NOS spray with no lockup you better buy clutch packs by the truck load and pan gaskets for every time you burn thru that clutch and fill that pan full of clutch dust and friction parts. Remember that dust and small parts are now going thru your engine with every RPMs of the motor running.

POPS BK911
But what do I know I race a 1981 400cc HONDAMATIC for the past 9 years with a factory slider = ask COWBOY BOB # 2 NHRA World Finals 2012  from Dayton Oh. on how he won $2500 at one event at INDY on one of these   STOCK HONDA OEM 400CC SLIDERS.

BILL:  I can send you the 34mm Mikuni flat slides [ with stacks ] to try out or the NEW FBG 40mm Lectrons for the new Stroker motor you are building. With the 34mm Mikunis you will need a K&L main jets kit #18-9203 [110-145 2.5 increments ] to change main jet for peak performance , Lectrons were set up by Paul Gast for a 1105 KZ so you might have to turn needle Left for leaner or Right for richer being careful not to break needle [ watched folks with $800-$1200  Lectrons break parts not knowing how to adjust these simple carbs ] my FBG carbs do-not have the power jet set up, but you do-not have a PRO-STOCK MOTOR.  You can set up these carbs on a DYNO but when you get to a track with 2800-3500 DA and the humidity is 90 in the shade, changes might be needed...... for sure.

How do you break needle on Lectrons? Ran them for 15 years on my KZ and never had a problem, and i'm good at breaking parts.

Bill, not sure i'd waste my time with those 40mm Lectrons. That motor will not flow enough air to fully utilize them. 36mm Mikunis would be the limit in my opinion. Consider the rule of thumb concerning intake valve size, port size and carb requirements.
