79 cb750 left switch need help with wiring?

ok i have a 79 cb750 left switch that i want to use but only the signal and horn ( no lights )

i've attached a pic of the switch to see if you can help me identify where the wires go? I tried to follow the wiring schematic but got lost quick. i removed the headlight wiring since i won't be using them.

colors are ;

a. orange
    orange / white strip

b. blue
   blue / white strip

c. gray = power?

d. brown / white stripe

e. light green = ( horn )?

f. dark green = ??

Someone here may have the info you need but this the SOHC forum (pre 1979......cept for the 650 step-child :D and thats only because it's still SOHC)................

Going off what I remember from the 650's I have.
The blues and oranges are for the turns I think.
The dark green is the clutch safety switch.
Have to get the diagram to get the rest.

Tks guys believe it or not I posted this on the cb750 forum  and they kicked me off cuz I have a cb500...

You guys helped me a lot , not sure how to delete this thread?

Orange and blues are for turn signals. Blue/orange with stripes running lights. Grey flasher unit. Dark green is ground. Brown/white would be gauge lights.The other green/white and green would be the horn.
I would surmise you don't need the wires in bold.

Thank you very much exactly what I was looking for! I'm going to have to get a magnifying glass so I can read those schematics better

OK...........lemme get this straight. You have a 500 but you're trying to use the 79' 750 left switch?

Yup your right and I'm not trying I am putting it on my Amen Plunger CB500 Chopper...just thought it was about time to put some blinkers and a horn on it... Way to many Folios on the road these days....
