#2 carb hose nipple, and other carb q's
« on: February 13, 2014, 01:10:01 AM »
What is the nipple for on the #2 carb that's between the fuel inlet, and solenoid vac nipple?

Looks like it branches out to the other carbs.....what hose hooks to this?

Also, my mains are all 108 EXCEPT my #4 carb, which is a 110. For a 78, 108 is right, but is #4 supposed to be  different ? (wondering if someone's been in these)

Thanks!

That is a vent line.  A hose should connect, and be routed up under the fuel tank - where it ends open-ended.

All four jets should be the same.

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.
