Classic motorcycle dealers in Minnesota
« on: February 27, 2014, 01:01:19 AM »
I'm travelling to Minneapolis next week and want to check out some classic motorcycle dealers whilst I am there.
I've already found Sportswheels, but was wondering if there are any more that people can recommend.
Thanks

Sportwheels is a salvage yard and while they do sell vintage "project bikes" most of what they have is outside.  They do have some indoor space too it's hard to say what is on display.  It's about 30-35 miles south of Minneapolis.  I don't know that there are any classic motorcycle dealers in the metro.  Plenty of new bike dealers but who cares about that. ;)  Blue Cat Motors in St Paul is a repair shop specializing in vintage bikes.  They always have some nice bikes on the lifts and they do store quite a few for the winter.  Probably your best bet for seeing vintage bikes.  Give them a call tell them your story and see if they wouldn't mind you coming by.  They are a bit "hipster" at times but are good guys. ;D
