How to make your own CB750 oil jets

Lost your 1-piece oil jets? Here's a drawing of how they are made. Anyone with a small lathe, a set of carburetor drill bits in the #68 to #80 drill size range, and some patience, can make these. They are made from aluminum (anything but 7075 is appropriate) and don't have to be deadly accurately made. The "strainer" holes number 7 from Honda, but more might do: the original 2-piece oil jets found in the K0-K1 engines from the 'old factory' had 13 strainer holes of the same size on the little dome on those bigger jets.

The only critical dimension is the diameter of the top, where it has to both fit in the hole(s) in the head and not jam forever. Honda used .001"-.002" clearance from those holes to this part.

See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.
