Hello to everyone on the forumn. I purchased my first bike (78 CB750F) about six months ago and have been reading up on it here since then. With your guys' informational posts I was able to successfully do a top end rebuild and stop the waterfall of oil coming from everywhere. The 750 is now my daily rider and I just bought a 76 cb550K as my next project. I'm hoping to start a build thread and get some awesome feedback. Currently I'm a medic with the US Army and stationed out Fort Hood, Tx with an interest in turning my new project into a true cafe racer. Any advice or input will always be appreciated.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and Stev-o once Texas warms up I will have to take you up on your offer to show me around your area. My goal is to start a build thread for my 550 once I finish building a media blasting cabinet and powder coating oven in my garage.

Welcome FridgeRaider. Yeah this place really rocks if your into SOHC'S. You need to get your post count up so you can post pics of your rides. Looking forward to your build thread even though it's only a 550. Always cool stuff to learn no matter which size it is. Thanks for your service also.
