cb400F strangled
« on: March 23, 2014, 06:24:34 PM »
Woke up a cb400F got her running pretty good but seems to top out around 80mph which doesn't seem right at all. When I was running it without the air box it was greased lightening! I removed the air filter as it was an old one and as I was suspicious of it. Still seems to top out around 80 , maybe my speedo is was off....it is the old oem stocker. Am I asking to much here?

The CB400f had an advertised top speed of 118mph. Wait, that was the later Cb400f. The early ones were 95-103mph depending on rider crouch.
