I'm replacing the old 30+yr exhaust gaskets on my 75 CB400f with ones I picked up from 4into1 (so I'm assuming that if they say it fits the 400f, it'll fit the 400f). The old ones were a paper with wire wrapping. The new ones look like metal over a paper core, and seem like they're just a touch too big to fit into the engine. Am I just supposed to jam them in there and hope they seat well when the exhaust goes on? Anything else I should take care of while I'm down there?
Thanks!
