Clutch issue?
« on: March 27, 2014, 02:11:57 PM »
So been Reassembling a motor and I put on the cover that has the intake for the clutch cable. Off of the nut is the little linkage that connects to the cable. After I screwed the cover on I could not get the nut to turn at all, im guessing this would mean the clutch engaging isnt happening. Am I missing something?

What bike?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

There in the middle. Does it all have to line up a certain way? Underneath this cover is the clutch and where the back of the bolt goes is the "black hole" behind it. I feel like I missed a piece

Were you trying to turn it by hand?

Ya. Bad way to test? Does it take braided metal to do it?

You're trying to lift clutch plates against 4 springs with your fingers and no leverage.
