The 78F Digger Bike is complete. I can't let the garage stay clean or quiet. So here I go again...

I am using an Amen Rigid Frame with a P&P Girder Front End. The tank in the picture is a Santee Prism Tank, but if I can pick up a Ness Rocket Tank, that is what will go on this bike.

No motor, what you see is what I got. I will be looking for a 76 or earlier donor bike when funds become available. I had a lot of challenges on the last bike trying to fit 78 parts to a frame designed for 69-76 components.

The front end was practically a steal on eBay from a good guy who actually turned out to be a forum member here.

So not much progress because my life is in a state of flux right now, but I did pick up a rear wheel from Mcwilliams570 on the cheap.

And I know I'm getting WAY ahead of myself, but I have the paint scheme in mind already. It's gonna be Chrysler Green Go, Sublime, and White, with the Cuda stripe design on the tank.

Plus I want a WHITE leather seat...

They show up a few times a year on eBay and usually go for between $400 and $800 depending on the condition. That's a lot of dough, but when you know what you want, you gotta bite the bullet. So for now I'm just gonna stash some cash away for when the next one pops up.

Looking at the shape of that tank it would cost less to have one made......

Hey digger, I have a 74 motor here, it's froze up, haven't tried to get it unstuck yet. got it extra with a 77 f I parted out. not sure what it would cost to ship it to you, but its yours if you want it.

Damn, I'd forgot the name! The Harley Lowrider in pic was really close looking to my brothers 836 Ness frame/ fend bike. Oh it brings back so many memories,RC distributor, cam, Dave P's seat, and that tank! Wow, I want another one! Good luck on your build, need hard parts, let me know, Bill

Sorry it's been a while since I gave an update.

I have the rear wheel on and I've started tearing apart a 75K engine that I've had laying around.

I barely missed out on a Ness tank that was just on eBay. I'll definitely have to make sure my pockets are deeper the next time one shows up... You don't have one laying around, do you Bill?

I love the rocket tank but you might think about wearing a jok strap. You wouldn't want a nuggie slipping under that tailfin.
