No one's more keen than me, I assure you. I'm doing some bits and bobs in the background, lots of things on order, figuring out what I need etc. Hopefully when the move happens I'll have pretty much everything I need and I can get stuck right into it... assuming we don't buy a fixer-upper, then it could take a bit longer...

Maybe this would be even more appropriate and solve the cord problem.  I think you put coal in these.  Iron, coal, and steam...what more could a steampunker want. At least these are real and not poser.

I may be a bit slow on the uptake here, certainly my teachers used to say that a lot. But if I understand correctly, this build cannot start until after the house move, and the new house has not yet been chosen ??

yeah I think it's a bit lame to jump on Noddy for the pace of the bike build...it's only been a month or so.

As far as the style...well that's fair game.

In case your factor is waylaid by bandits  could you also dispatch a letter of draught from your bank by Post Chaise.  Speed is of the essence  as I must sail with the tide if I am to make the Channel by midnite.
