I'm more into the cyberpunk stuff hence my avatar (which apparently where steampunk kinda got its name from ) and i also like a lot of retro-futuristic stuff and I'm not into taking the piss out the project tho, world would be a boring place if everyone thought and wanted the same.

Just read through this thread, and it is one of the craziest things that I have ever read on the interweb. I love some of the detail work going into the project. Can't wait to see how it comes out. Keep up the good work.

Hi mate, I've sent a reply to your PM, but at this stage they actually don't, technically, work. I haven't gotten that far yet. But the basic premise is combining them with a remote master cylinder (something like this http://www.fabkevin.com/shop/parts/brakes/remote-master-cylinder/). Should be pretty straight forward. Look up "inverted levers" and you should get some good hits that'll give you a bunch of info on them.

OK, so it's been quiet on the update front, but not quiet on the actual doing things front. Been learning to weld for the last few weeks, and thanks to Old Scrambler I now have a rust-free frame again!

Next stage is hardtail (not welded on yet):

I've also been polishing and painting various bits and bobs:

I've dropped the front shocks down, now just waiting on new seals for reassembly. All my goodies from Cycle X came through so the engine is off getting bored and honed etc, should get that back in the next few weeks and I can start reassembling the engine. Hopefully in the meantime I'll get the frame fully welded up and will have a rolling chassis together!

the anchor can be used for many things. you can use it in case the brakes fail, throw it at cars that want to switch into your lane, hook onto other vehicles and save fuel, signal for all reasonable people to keep their distance, etc....
nah that anchor is genius. what i'm worried about is the lighting situation with that bike.
