Rev hang and bike dying at idle.
« on: May 09, 2014, 04:55:21 PM »
Hey guys,

I was, in the past, just experiencing some rev hang. Now, my bike will hang and will die out of i do not apply some throttle.
I have recently cleaned the carbs and placed in an in-line gas filter. Up until this point, the filter is still clean. I did notice a small crack on my airbox carb boots. The crack/cut is small and i believe that it is not a factor?

I have checked my plugs and they are in the 'ok' range base on ngk's spark plug chart.
I have
  • changed the oil/filter  1.5k miles ago.
  • adjusted my points,
  • adjusted CCT
  • the air screw on the carbs out by 1.5 turns
  • [valve adjustment
  • points
  • bench synched the carbs to 1/8 drill bit per flybox's instruction
