Stinger
« on: May 23, 2014, 10:14:31 PM »
Was talking about this on Craigslist at the races at Hallet. Seen on Craigslist, and it was still there.  Ted wanted it so we worked out the deal. SHoulda snapped it up myself byt the finances weren't there.

Twin with downdraft carbs. Don't know a whole lot more about it, but barnfind at auction and resold to us.

And the third pic. Who knows if this will even get to Ted, but it might.  Seems like it's in pretty good condition, a few loose wires on the controls and dusty, but it starts and runs and is pretty rare. I think it's a '71.

I had a chance to maybe buy one a few years back but I dawdled too long when I should have been moving faster. Still regret letting that one slip by since I am kind of a Suzie fan from my kid days.

This one lingered on CL for a week or more because the guy listed it as 125 twin two stroke and left no reference to 'stinger.'  I think with that one word in his ad it would have been gone in two days.
