How tall are you and whats your weight
« on: June 01, 2014, 12:34:35 pm »
Just saw a new thread and a new member who just got a 1978 CB750 asking how at 6'6 could he change some things on the bike to make it more comfortable for someone of his height. I think most of us sohc4er's are of average height and weight 5'8 to 6'0 and are 200 lbs or less. But their's a few here that are up in the clouds a little bit and Im sure well over 200 lbs.

Im 5'9 and 185

I'm 6' and 190. My youngest son is a good 6'4 to 6'5 and 210 and he rides an 98 cbr600 but deals with leg cramps on it during a long ride. :o He doesn't look too bad on my 750 though.

So back to the original question,  I have kinda worried about cramping in my legs and comfort in general when I mount my rear sets, any words of advice?

For general comfort, you need oil tank cover to use rear sets - at least with CB750.  The oil tank gets too hot to lean on comfortably without cover.
