Topic: Engine Paint (heat issue?)

I was planning on powder coating some parts on my engine and painting others.  Then I heard from a very good source, this can cause the engine to run a lot hotter... much hotter.  I was wondering others opinions on this?  Have you painted/powder coated your motor and if so do you notice it running hot?  If you painted with this in mind what kind of paint did you use to try and avoid this issue?

Neither paint nor powder coat should be applied in thickness to cause heating problems. Theoretically, if you applied Ceramic Coating on the jugs and heads, you could disturb the cooling effects of the fins.

Properly applied, powder cost is very thin and will not harm your engine.

The best I have found which resists heat, petrol and oil plus as thin if not thinner than paint is stove enamelling I had my F2 engine done in satin black and is excellent, very resistant to chipping too. The silver is very good match for the Honda engine paint

This is being done for my nighthawk when I re-do the engine!

Honda factory blacked engine, not sure what they used on it.
