Thanks Cal, I'll try and give him a call in the next couple of days ;D

Will most likely be Saturday morning my time, which will be Friday afternoon there.  Work and timezone differences make it difficult. ;D

Yes they do! For your info only, Bill Benton should be arriving early afternoon Friday (local) and will likely be there as well at that time. My understanding is he's coming up Friday and planning to spend much of the weekend with Sam. I can't imagine much else that will brighten Sam up more than good friends visiting or calling.

I'm a pretty meager substitute for you all. I'm enlisting my two young'uns to visit with me later this morning. Hope a couple of smiling young kids will entertain him a bit.

I'm very humbled by witnessing the outpouring of affection for the man. Genuinely honored to be welcomed to know him and pass along on his behalf, what everyone's efforts and thoughts mean to him.

Jonathan, just got off the phone with him! He is back! Doesn't recall first post etc. So I talked with the "real" Sam Green tonight. So cool. He knows about his leathers! Was bummed! I got a plan!  ;D
He is done racing....not done helping/ being Sam Green, just retiring for now! Sam Wills said same thing! Haha!  ::) I let him know he's got our full support no matter the decisions. He doesn't remember going to Va. Asked how about picking up at airport? Same thing ...no. So he knows helmet saved his life... Frank, (Dragracer) I'll have both bikes at track, can ride either, Jon, Larry, same deal. Any Team Sam Green member offer holds! RC You know you welcome...a little slow for your pace! We already making plans for Triple running and bringing Lewis over with him for 2015 Man Cup in November. Plenty of time! This is just the end of one chapter and start of another! Calendar Girl I plan on making Top Ten by year's end. Had I gotten the minimum 11 on Saturday would be 18th! So we can do it, Now I got another crew chief that's all! Haha. Sam Green, I love you man! K. Bill 8)

He knows. We all knew Bill would have to tell him!

Was on my way to spend the weekend with my youngest but due to weather it seems that is not going to happen. I had planned to stop by an spend a little time with Sam while I was there.   Hopefully he will be able to make Valdosta. You know it will be hot as all get out so Sam may need someone to carry his refreshments for him.  Great news so far, keep up the good work Sam so Bill can get you out of that place soonest.

Sam's had a pretty good day and evening. I see noticeable improvement in his mental state. Really beginning to clear some cob webs. Loads of calls again today, and he wished me to pass along he apologizes for not responding to each and every well wish.

For you international types, today is a robust Holiday here. Since Sam has been absorbing our hospitality here for 2 weeks, thought it only appropriate he suffer through the humiliation of our national pride as we celebrate kicking the tyranny out 200+ years ago, what with his being British and all  ;D

Sam's something of a celebrity with the nursing staff and hugely popular due to his good nature and charm. They welcomed him into their office to watch from the top story windows of a local and nearby fireworks show. Sorry the pics crap, but from my
Phone.

Cheers all-

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
