Barber's tickets on sale!
« on: June 30, 2014, 03:16:19 PM »
Got mine already.  Camping space has been a thorn in my side every year.  This year I wasn't messing around and bought a motorhome spot.

I was checking aruond today because I was thinking of going but there is no camping left.  How do people attend here, even if I got a spot it says it only allows one vehicle to park at it. :'(

Are you taking more than one car?   ???  The three years I went, I always had a vehicle pass and a tow vehicle pass.  I'm pretty sure they just come that way.  Keep an eye on the tickets page, last year I noticed camping availability would pop up.  I don't know whether they were letting people return their tickets or what.  I think I actually posted something last year about it.  That hotel right outside the park has long since been sold out too.  A few years ago, a bunch of guys camped on someone's property.  I don't remember if it was a guy here or another forum.

Going there with the mindset it is moto-free-for-all  is best for your situation. I'm not sure if we got an extra or tow vehicle pass, but if worst comes to worst find other friends or camp with someone that does have the passes.  We have "b" but might spend most our time with friends in "c."  maybe you could hold down the fort in "B" for us if we end up in "c" most the time. Whatever works for you.

Motels book up, too. I think last year we sold an extra pass.

They're populating the events page now, they got all the races on there.  I got an email yesterday about them mailing my tickets too.  Woohoo!

It really is a hardcore couple of days. One year I spent most my time in the swap meet.  Sellers appear and disappear over the days, as does their items. Find something and don't hesitate to get it because if you go back for that  tire someone will have bought them all.

A three fifty for $200? The guy a couple vendors down will have it bought built and maybe even running before the weekend is over.

Make sure to get to the museum even if you don't make it to the event.

+1.  Saw a guy two years ago with a bunch of CT90s.  He'd buy them, work on them, and sell them right there in the camping area.

I think there were 60000+ there last year.  I'd imagine more this year being the 10th anniversary...

I had heard 30,000 but that might have just been the campers. It's like  Moto-Woodstock, but might not be as fun if it rained all three days and nights. :-X

Would be a great event, cant imagine that many people at that event that would be fantastic.
Wish they had big stuff like that in Australia.
