Topic: Domino quick turn throttle

Anyone have any experience with the domino xm2 throttles

Would like to get it to work with my 400f. Only problem is cables. Not sure of the so called "universal" cable kit will work.

quick turn throttles are kind of a #$%* for real world riding. Racing ok,

I have them for 3 bikes, 2 of which are the XM2. Universal cables worked fine for me, but you need the correct version of the cable is all. You could also measure your current cables and find a model (currently supported) that had the same length and order them. As long as the throttle linkage mounts to carbs, you'd be fine.

Best part of this unit is the different cams, so I find them preferable to the stock, and for the street.

Don't think any of the new ones would work as most new bikes hook up under the tank and are quite short

Domino. Bought them through Revival Cycles. Universal cable kit was $95 but love the product.

Quick turn throttles and mechanical slide carbs without accelerator pumps?  Seems like a recipe for frequent engine stumble.

Fine for CV carbs and fuel injection, I expect.

You're right if you use the most aggressive ratio, TT. I've had no adverse reaction to using either their "slow" or "mid" cam. Mostly, it's how hard you turn it, like the standard throttle, as to how quick it opens.  My experience has been that it allows you turn less, to achieve more opening, so for clip-on bars, it's nice for wrist action.

Didnt want to have to re-grip for full throttle. Also the grip and throttle were free. Thanks again cal.
