OEM Brake Piston or Aftermarket
« on: July 01, 2014, 10:28:52 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what would be better?  Getting the oem from Honda brake piston for a CB500k0 or buying the aftermarket phenolic piston / etc instead?  Lets pretend I can get the OEM at a decent price.

Weight, corrosion resistance, heat resistance. All the reasons they're made. Nothing wrong with the stock unit, but if I were to choose, I'd always choose to use phenolic.
