Curious what is this little thread on the lower tree for?
« on: July 14, 2014, 06:35:43 PM »
I looked on the parts fiche and it doesn't show anything there.  I then looked on ebay and some have the thread and others don't.  It makes me confused.

So anyone know??

oh its a cb350f by the way

People actually mount a steering damper in that hole. Not sure it is really intended for that though but it works.

There is a loop-like bracket that guides the wiring harness to keep in position, and it is secured to that threaded hole.

Not the best picture, but the hex head cap screw in the lower left that supports the wiring harness guide is threaded into that hole on the lower triple clamp, as viewed from below.
