Honda 1969 GL175 twin
« on: July 15, 2014, 07:35:47 AM »
This is my good old 1969 Honda GL175. It's 6volt electric start and kickstart. They were only delivered to Australia intended for sheep farmers. The tray on the back is for the sheep dog to get on.
Still runs well.

I can hear the commercial now, "looking for some heavy petting but don't want your wife to find out.  Well look no further.  With the convenient sheep seat on the back of the new Honda GL175 you can take that sheila so far out in the bush no one will ever know  ;) The all new Honda GL175; reliable, dependable, a real #$%*ing good time! Get yours today!"

Just kidding, that is cool

I've always liked the similar vintage cl125 twin. I photographed one at Barber that had won a ribbon as best daily rider or somesuch.

This looks even better.

Yeah, I love the looks of it too and it's the most handy shopping bike. The tray on the back is just perfect for the box of beer to strap onto.  :)  ;)
