Yep, you're right, the Dynoman pistons are JE. CycleX carries the 59mm Wisecos. Wiseco doesn't seem to offer a larger than 59 for the 550

Actually spent some time trying to determine how I would kill the axle clamps and connect them to the swing arms. Obviously, they'll be welded, but what connection method and overall thickness of the keeper.

I've also been trying to decide on swing arm pivot bolt diameter, bearings for the pivot, etc... And lastly, given the thickness of the tubing, I'm going to have use a water-cooled MIG to torch this thing. TIG will require too much heat and take me forever to get full bead around on it. So I've got work out borrowing that from a buddy or have him sew it up.

Just got home late last evening and gotta run out of town this weekend with #2 for a soccer tourney, so won't get #$%* done until next week.

No it won't thankfully. We've begun to see the inklings of fall. Funny, when I left VA nearly 3 weeks ago, it was still summer. Came home late last evening to the all to familiar smell of nearby wood stoves churning overnight. FL was still blazing hot, humid, and pissing rain while I was down there. Rained so bloody hard it rinsed the smashed bugs off the windscreen and front bumpers from the drive down. (trust me, that's pretty damn hard rain).

Was out and about one evening heading to watch my mate's college team play their soccer match, and it rained so hard they cancelled the match, and it was on turf. While driving home, thought I caught a glimpse of 2 giraffes, 2 zebras, a pair of elephants and some monkeys on their backs headed for a large wooden ship... Maybe I was dreaming?

We haven't seen rain in forever here in SoCal. There are drought awareness/water conservation billboards with dead grass with copy that reads: Brown is the new Green. No kidding.

In my neck of the woods we have wells on top of an amazingly abundant aquifer fed by an underground river they say originates in Canada. Water is not an issue - but there is word circulating that due to the lack of rain the State wants to meter the private wells and tax water usage above minimum levels TBD.

Isn't that a lark! Tax private wells! All from a state that is so bankrupt due to excessive state benefits for employees and all the tax revenue they've collected continues to be poured into that same bloated, improperly managed fund. Go East, a Young Man! Go East!

Interesting choice of words thete, Retro, "incompetent government". Wondering, ever heard of a "competent" government in recent, modern history?

I just think that the "incompetence" is more highly publicized and more quickly reported than in past years due to the proliferation of socialized media.

I really don't think its to do with wider reporting, its more to do with the individual, too many "career" politicians, in it for the perks, they are schooled politicians, living in a bubble with little to no idea of how the general population really lives and whats needed to support a happy productive society. The ones that actually get in in the belief that they can make change for the better end up having to tow the party line or get kicked out, what we need is more independent politicians to break the 2 party stranglehold on world politics....

100%. And term limits! Should not be lifelong opportunity to legislate. Way too much opportunity for apathy and corruption. Serve your country, then go home. 12 years max!

I'm not even certain I like our Supreme Court having lifetime appointments. I see both sides of the argument on that one.

If you add breaking the influence of big corporations to that i'm 100% in agreement, it all boils down to greed and that is the number one problem full stop.... I would like to see some large business broken up so the little guy, mom and pop business can make a return and level the playing field a bit, when i grew up there were small corner stores everywhere, now they have been virtually driven out of business because they can't compete with the big guys. Here in Australia the large food chains just lower prices on every day goods to the point where there is absolutely no money being made on these items, they easily write it off against the billions they make every year on other products, these types of practices slaughter the little guy who's worked at his business all his life , to wake up one day and know your lifes work has been illuminated by a corporations quest for more money is disgusting, once these large businesses have taken that share of the market the prices simply go back up..... Makes me sick....
