1976 CB750K Carbs on my 1978 CB750K - will it work and is it bad?

I wanna get all my marbles right before I start buying kits and cleaners. Is it bad I'm using a carburetor from a 1976 CB750K for my 1978 CB750K?
I know they were made different, if anyone interested here's a link http://www.motorcycleproject.com/motorcycle/text/types.html.
Thanks in advance.

It will work. Essentially the engines are the same. A few differences but thats all.  And if they are all K bikes, I think the rubbers all fit.

You will loose the accelorator pump and the idle increase with choke if I am not mistaken. Other than that, there is no reason why you couldn't do it, I guess.

77-78 carbs are larger on the engine side(at least on the F models and I think we hashed this out before that it is the same on 77-78 K models). If you switch to from 78 to 76 carbs you might want to switch carb rubbers too, otherwise you may get air leak problems.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame
