So I finally knuckled down and went back to work on the "bike of many pieces".

If some of you don't remember its ok. Seems I forgot about it too.

Its a 77 K Frame with 77 F Front forks and rear. Few other bits of Honda DNA are being thrown in the mix.

Those of you wishing for better dual brakes might want to check out the picture of the CBX Caliper pistons vs the 750 Supersport.

You can pick up 5 mm bigger pistons with a bolt on. (Damn I shouldn't give away my secrets)

Ummm found it in a box of parts.

dood - that is THE baddest brake setup I have ever seen on these bikes. . . .NICE work, especially with the CBX part. That was probably a chunk o' change because everything I see parts wise on CBXs on eBay are krazy spendy. . . heh, and I have been all excited about eventually doing a front dual stock disc setup on my CB500. . lol.

what is the rear disc? is that a kit or other bike parts?

Here was the kit for that setup, back in the day. . .

Exactly what I was thinking! I wouldn't know how to act but, I'd sure give it a try.

Fantastic work on the removal of the handlebar mounts too! I can definitely see a BOTM
candidate is on the rise. I tell you, variations of these bikes just keep on coming and you guys
just keep on putting your spin on them, making distinctly tough looking bikes that are a sight to
behold. Keep up the good work.

That fork brace looks like the brace out of a stock front fender, just with the fender removed.

Lookin' sweet so far, man. Makes me wish I had a little more dough to spend on my bike. I've got a huge winter list for my bike before I even get to more body work. New car has to come first, though. Either that or about $1000 worht of work to my current one.

Bikes are so much more fun to work on.
