« on: September 20, 2014, 07:13:04 PM »
Hey all...looking to build my hondamatic into a cafe racer....if I have to I'll hammer indents but rather not...so looking to tank swap.    Found a 66 bridgestone 175 tank cheap and it has tje cafe indents and rubber pads too.  Just unsure the fitment with the 750 frame.   What other tanks are easy swaps to the '77 750 frame

I bet the Bridgestone tank will fit way easier than bashing the #$%* out of some poor old tank...and just so you know, knee dents do nothing to enhance performance.
If it works good, it looks good...

the cb750A frame is wider than than the k0-k8. I had a K4 tank - didnt come close to fitting. and no it couldnt be beaten in..would have to be cut/welded.
