Topic: What cb550 parts will fit a cb500?

I just purchased my first cb500 and am beginning the rebuilding process. I see alot of parts for sale for cb550's. Is there a list somewhere that shows what parts from the 550's work (or dont) with the 500's? Thanks.

Mooney a lot will interchange but not everything, you need to down load the parts lists from the Project pages and compare, I had the same issues when I started restoring my 500

all the engine top end but the lower end was changed,same cranks and primary shaft though,the 550 barrels will fit if the case is machined to take them,the first 550 frame is the same as 500.
