My latest Find
« on: October 12, 2014, 07:19:38 AM »
My wife being the sweetest little lady that she got me my Christmas present early this year. I have been looking for a steel tank Z50 for years. So the story from the PO is that he put an 88cc kit into it 10-12 years ago, and couldn't get it to run right on the stock carb. So my options are to take it back to 50cc or find a 20mm carb for it.        .

Not entirely sure Frank... I belive the 90's and newer white Z50's have a plastic tank. I really am a fan of the 80's style Z50 like this one.

Sparked, man this brings back memories. Here is my youngest son around 1996 on his mini trail 50. Not sure what year of bike it was but it did have a metal tank.

Up to 1987 they were steel tanks. Then they went to plastic to mimic the big bikes. Our first daughter is just 2 months old, so I got alittle bit of time to get it fixed up before she will be needing it.  ;)
