yes like to see if it have extern gearbox oilpump...its that small ekstra rubber line from main filter schreen..as only 550 have

Yeah, looks like it. Strange but interesting. The enginenumber could very well be a CB500K2 [ED, F, G].

And if your enginenumber is really 2170315, yours is - believe it or not - the very first 500 engine that had 4 rocker shafts in stead of 8 and that is good.

yeah, its k3 which have 550 clutch and cover. because 500 k3 engine number is 2200008-2204080 and germany and france k2 engine number is 2166156- and my engine number is 2170315. And when i have that pan out it looks like that all gearshift forks was on one axel.

Yeah, photo's will be of great help. I wonder what gasket or sealing compound you will see when you remove the clutch cover.
BTW, what's that tube doing there between the cylinder barrel and the airplenum (middle photo)?
Has that photo been photoshopped? I seem to see a rack of new style (PD) carbs lying near the ignitionplate but the dimensions look a bit strange.

tube is clutch cable.

and it can look photo shoppet but it isnt.

I ment the big tube lying over the clutch house and that is attached to the bottom (right side) of the cylinder block and goes to... where?... the airplenum?

at last,thats a 500 bottom end with 550 clutch assembly,the drum is locked from the top case with large bolt and the shift drum end is flat not star shaped,the lower case is straight along the bottom near the kickstart where the 550 has that curved section,the shift mechanism is 500,my guess is someone has done this modification?

yeah my bike is honda cb 500 with 550 clutch. FINALY i know what my bikes bottom end is.

yes there was in the case have that adjusting and when i tried adjust the clutch the bolt broke and then i take that case out and reason why the bolt broke was that the old owner was broke the bolt and then he was welded the bolt up.

now i have to find new bolt.

the adjuster bolt on 550s isn't replaceable by its self unless you fabricate something up,its peened over during manufacture.

???hov does the 550 cover fit the 500 bottom case,,,it can not be done the other vay vitaut leaking..as i see it.

.is the buttom part mashined at a bigger area so the 550 cover can seal..or are there filled some stuff in to frill aut in this 500 so the cover fit engine casing
