Last wek I went to my storage unit and struck up a conversation with another renter. I saw an older Honda gas tank and asked if he had a project bike. He showed it to me and said he would sell it if someone wanted it. I asked how much and he said $50. I got a phone call right then and said I would think about it and get back to him. When I did, he said that if I wanted it I could have it. I told him to roll it out. He said he took the carbs off to rebuild, but got no further. I collected the parts and get the carbs and title Friday. I started looking it over and the bike is really clean. I think this guy was anal about it. I bet there is a coat of wax under the dust. 11,000 miles on the bike and it really looks nice. I guess it pays to say hi now and then. Anyway, I was searching for information and was happy to find this site. I remember when they came out in 1979 and I didn't like the comstar rims. I think they look pretty good right now.  8)
