Cannot use stock filter box cb500
« on: November 27, 2014, 07:48:22 PM »
I have a 72 cb500. So I am trying to figure out my best option.
I currently have velocity stacks on my bike. It gives me no protection from dirt and rodents. If I add a screen to the outside it goofs up what a velocity stack does. I can't use a stock airbox so it has to be something to else.
So here is my question. Do I run pods with a screen on the front, try to attach a screen to the carb side (pic attached) or just run pods? If pods, which ones would give me better results vs velocity with screen option.

Some showing the screen inside.

What mine look like
