Anyone here buy this?
http://allentown.craigslist.org/mcy/4779382726.html

Here is the listing as I saw it, 2 hours after it was posted (note price):

I, of course, immediately sent a message stating that I would bring my cash and trailer ASAP.    No reply.

As few days later, the text of the listing was changed to: "Bike was sold to a collector for asking price."

Well, no surprise there, I would've gladly given the asking price too.   At least from the pictures, it is worth at least twice that.

Well, I checked back again, to download the pics to post here, and now the price has been changed to $5k.    What's the point of that if it has already been sold?

I'm just bummed that I didn't get it.    :'(  If only I had been looking at CL, oh, about 1 hour and 50 minutes earlier.

I saw that listing on craigslist too,  I immediately thought scam.  they are on there all the time.  I found this link from 2012 looks from Europe...  Sometimes if something looks too good to be true it most likely is.

Interesting -- notice the European plate on the second pic of the UK listing.    That pic was cropped on the CL listing to not show that plate.
