Time for a "BRIMMER" call to action - Brent Waller got stiffed
« on: December 10, 2014, 06:46:37 pm »
This is all about helping our brother out!!

For those of you that know of "The Brimmer" episode, let's play! Brent first got stiffed then lied to. Oh the story Jake told to weasel out. For those of you that are unfamiliar with "Brimmer" just do a little search here, there is much fun to read. Basically it's a concerted efforts by multiple SOHC4 Forum members to "get someone's attention" by whatever means you can think of that may be effective.

I know we have some EXCELLENT internet sleuths here. I'm not even fair as far as that goes but I did search Jake Corrill and came up with quite a bit including his bio on Linked In which tells of his wrestling business and his current job.

Can someone find a link to our original BRIMMER episode and post it? Here it is. EXCELLENT reading  ;D

Let's see what info we can dig up on him first. Post up what you find. Let's make as much stuff public as possible. Internet sleuths unite!

Next perhaps an email campaign from as many members as possible directly to him that directs him to this thread showing 'our concern'.

All else fails we initiate a smear campaign that may be directed towards family, friends, associates, employees, employers, online links, etc.

Any thoughts on possible actions?

Lets be nice (at first).

Wow, things happen quickly around here!

Here's the skinny. I sold Jake a set of NSR125 triple clamps for his CB500. Included was a new set of tapered roller brgs for the steering head, plus spacers, everything needed for the swap. The NSR triples are 35mm offset something he wanted for his build. There was some machining I paid for, plus a bunch of emails explaining the "how to".

The package shipped July 29th. I told him to pay me once shipped & I had the total.

I know, I know it's a dumb way to do it, but I like to have faith in humanity. He asked if I could wait a while for the money & I told him fine. Some time later he wouldn't respond to emails and I bad mouthed him on here. Jerry stepped up and actually got a response from him. He told us both his brother was on his death bed and he was having trouble dealing with it all and if I could wait a little longer....I don't know if there is any truth to it all, but I let him off the hook again.

I waited a couple months and now he doesn't respond to the gmail addy.

It's $142.00 and it won't break me to not be paid but it just pisses me off. Every time I bad mouth someone I end up looking like the #$%*head. Whatever, if he sees this & I get my dough I'll be able to buy my grandkids a lump of coal for Christmas.  ;D

I don't want anyone doing something any of us will regret, but if he gets a message, I'm grateful for the help.

Don't know how you could look like a dckihead after doing that much for someone unknown to you...?

Whatever story about his brother he told, was obviously bullstit. His brothers facebook page lists no interruption in activity nor does his, or Jakes mention any deathbed illnesses. Had such an event occurred, their social network pages would have been besieged with well-wishes.

Jake and his extended family are only a "click" away... Say the word-

What the hell are you all waiting for.  This isn't some kind of witch hunt.  This guy is a scum bag that owes a member who went out of his way here money.  If he lived in MA, I'd go to his house personally and "collect" the money for you.  If I had a Facebook account I'd post this to all their pages.  We are in an industry/hobby of trust and integrity and there should be consequences for deliberately being a prick.
