« on: December 17, 2014, 01:36:16 pm »
This old 500 just arrived today...as you can see its a project !  It came from Fla. but I think it was raced in Pa by Ed Kemper. Who I`ll try to contact before I tear into it.

Interesting.  Why drag a 550?  I own a couple and they could use a little oomph.  Now, three 750 linked motors on the other hand . . .

So, CB750 Racer...you got a triple engine bike..? ..BTW..this bike is only 500CC , but I`ll wager it was quicker than my 750 Triumph drag bike. The owner apparently had a business building custom exhausts for fuel bikes..so perhaps he did a few internal engine modifications to this bike, that would justify having to use wheelie-bars..?

It was probably built when class racing kept things fun, instead of bracket racing keeping things competitive nowadays.
If it works good, it looks good...
