1973 CB500 New Build
« on: December 26, 2014, 03:53:47 PM »
Hello Everyone

My name is Greg. First time to this forum. I am 85% complete on my first bike build. It has been a little over a year but, with a business to run , and family and friends sometime it gets pished to the side. It has been a learning experience to say the least. I have learned to weld, build spoke wheels and even painting .
The bike was a runner when I purchased it butit willneed re jetted due to pipe and filter differences. I do have a good friend  who owns Orillia Motor Sports (Honda Dealer) who has been great at giving advice  and supplying parts. He even has a dyno that we will use for the job of rejetting.
Work on the bike slows down a bit over the winter with shorter days and cold weather. I have a heated shop but it is not the same as having the  garage door up on a warm summers evening.
Any thoughs or opinons  (on the bike of coarse) would be appriciated.

Welcome. Very pretty bike. I look forward to reading more about it.

Two things to know about this place, and they are related: (1) we love pictures and (2) no pictures, it didn't happen.
