What a meant is if you wanted to know if, among all those parts, could there be some rare part that people would be willing to sell a kidney in order to buy it.
LOL! No, I just didn't want to throw anything out only to find out it would be useful or sellable.
BTW, if you thought those were novice question, just wait till you see other threads I will start. When I decided to get a rifle I found a forum dedicated to that type of firearm and asked a ton of basic questions. At first I got reactions similar to yours, but after acquiring a good bit of knowledge about them I have guys asking me the same questions I asked when I first got to the site. I would suspect this happens on all kinds of forums, kind of the circle of information.
No, that's not what I was talking about. In another forum (Sanglas bikes) I'm a member of somebody registered just to say he had an original cowling and wanted to sell but didn't know how much to ask for and was asking for advice. Everybody replied the same "what's worth for you?". The guy had had the part sitting on a shelf for years and now wanted to sell, but before letting it go cheap he was asking the potential buyers how much should he ask for!!!! that's nonsense.
My experience with forums is then same than yours, people learn from the experienced ones, and with time the latter replace the former to teach new ones. But in this times of "everything is free in the internet", I believe everyone have so much credit to start with. When people help perfect strangers they do it simply to pay forward what one day they lernt. But you cannot keep asking the pros all the time -I'm not talking about YOU, I'm talking in general-, because they will get tired of answering the same questions all the time. That's what I mean with credit, I prefer to investigate myself first. Many times I will find the answer, and even if I don't, I will very probably find answer to pasts or future questions. And then, I will ask for help to others so as not to spend all my credit.
From my point there are no wrong questions. Everybody is free to ask, then it's up to yourself to reply or not.
Just by looking at the parts you posted, I feel that a few bucks+postage are a fair price for them. eBay is full of pieces like yours in better shape that end up with no bids. Put them for sale, let somebody get them at a good price and you will get some karma for the future.

Or keep the pictures coming, it's a great pastime
