Hello all,

Just wondering if the portion in the red circle should be painted. I'm just not sure what on the kick shaft this sits against.

Washer goes there to protect the cover from rubbing against spring on the kick starter shaft

I can take the paint off no problem but if just a washer and spring I don't see the harm in leaving it, unless I am missing something?
